Frequently Asked Questions
Q:The search results for an allergen contain only the allergen name, source, and type. How can I retrieve the sequence and structure?
A:Many allergens from the IUIS database do not have known sequence, and PDB contains the structure of less than 30 allergens. SDAP has links to sequence information from SWISS-PROT, NCBI and PIR, and to structure information from PDB. If you consider that the sequence or structure of an allergen is not present in SDAP, please send an E-mail to Werner Braun, Surendra Negi, Ovidiu Ivanciuc.
